Wiring |
|
Most European cars now have ISO
wiring looms. a car with ISO wiring will normally accommodate most of today's
well known car
radio equipment without the need for cutting or joining any wires.
If you do need to join wires ensure that suitable connectors are
used, preferably crimp terminal type, do not use insulation tape as with
the heat off the radio it can unravel and cause sever damage to the
radio, vehicle wiring or both and could catch fire |
|
IN THE INTEREST OF SAFETY
ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE VEHICLE BATTERY BEFORE
CARRYING OUT ANY WORK. IF IN DOUBT CONSULT A QUALIFIED CAR AUDIO
TECHNICIAN BEFORE PROCEEDING. |
